Well, here we are in the depths of winter, and aren’t we feeling it?!
We are now at round 17 of the AFL season, plenty of players and umpires are starting to feel the cumulative effects of a big preseason and a tough season. Safe to say the table is getting a workout!
Add to that the delayed start to real wintry conditions, and it has been a great time to be on the bike too! We are now on the other side of the winter solstice, so our daylight is creeping back out again. In the meantime, don’t forget to stay safe and stay seen out there – with more and more drivers paying less and less attention to the road, anything you can do to make yourself more noticeable in the road is a good thing. I am always running a front and rear light these days, no matter if its light or dark. I figure if cars are running daytime running lights, there’s a good reason for it, I am happy to jump on the wagon!
While all of that is going on, it’s also time to start thinking ahead to the warmer months and what’s planned. The Tour of Bright is often a feature of many road cyclists seasons. A great weekend of racing in the alpine hamlet of Bright.
This year we are gearing up to head up for the weekend. We have developed a Support Package for those riders without access to a team and the support that goes with it.
We are offering just 5 places, to endure that everyone receives the benefits and value of the package.
– 1 hour treatment at Apex Massage in the lead up to the event
– 1 hour treatment at Apex Massage after the event
– 45 min massage after each stage in Bright (at Apex Massage Accommodation)
– Individually tailored stretching program (written after treatment prior to Tour)
– Care package from Apex Massage containing Gu Energy, Premax products and a few little surprises.
If this sounds like something that fills a gap in your prep, then get in touch and lets talk!
